Sr. Director of Research and Content, Zpryme Research

Chris is the Sr. Director of Research and Content at Zpryme Research, a market research, media, and events company based in Austin, Texas. Chris and Zpryme focus their work on the changes occurring in energy, municipalities, water, and mobility. He works with utilities, cities, businesses, and technologists to better understand how digital transformation, renewable energy, and sustainability initiatives will impact people. Chris oversees the research, marketing, and business development teams for Zpryme and leads multiple initiatives including the Energy Thought Summit and the Cities of the Future Institute.

Before joining Zpryme Chris has led marketing, research, and business analytics projects around energy efficiency programs, electric vehicles, and renewable energy. The common thread with all of these endeavors is a focus on customer engagement and digital innovation. As a writer and analyst, he brings industry experience from the U.K., EU, and North America. Early in his career, Chris worked in public affairs and campaign politics for several candidates in Colorado, Virginia, and the U.K as a speechwriter and policy advisor. Chris serves on the board for The Heat and Warmth Fund (THAW) in Detroit, which is an organization dedicated to providing energy assistance to Michigan families, and empowering them to help keep them healthy, safe and warm.

Chris is passionate about his family, travel, his dog, Detroit sports, soccer, running, triathlons, clean energy, digital innovation, energy equity, and public service.
