Cloud for Utilities and the American Gas Association announce new strategic collaboration

June 27, 2022 — Cloud for Utilities and the American Gas Association (AGA) announce a new strategic collaboration ahead of the 2022 Digital + Cloud Summit to support and educate the industry on technology.

As part of the new partnership, the American Gas Association Technology Committee (formerly known as the Technology Advisory Council) will have their annual meeting during the Summit. Members of the American Gas Association are entitled to special registration rates for the Summit.

“The missions of Cloud for Utilities and the American Gas Association are aligned — we both want to support and improve outcomes for American utilities and the energy sector. We are looking forward to expanding our partnership in service of utilities,” said Rick Cutter, Cloud for Utilities co-founder.

“One of the goals for the American Gas Association is to support natural gas providers, which is in sync with Cloud for Utilities’ and the Summit’s goal to encourage utilities to collaborate,” said Jim Linn, American Gas Association’s Chief Information Officer.

The American Gas Association represents, educates, and advocates for more than 200 energy companies that deliver natural gas in the United States. With their new partnership with Cloud for Utilities, the American Gas Association gains access to the education, resources, and platform that the Summit provides.
