Manager, Duke Energy Renewables

Gene Mottolo is Manager of the Asset Standardization organization for Duke Energy Renewables. Duke Energy Renewables, a nonregulated unit of Duke Energy, owns and operates Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage Assets in 17 states, totaling more than 3,000 MW of renewable energy generation. The Asset Standardization organization consists of Work Management, Materials Management, and Business Systems Administration teams that support all Duke Energy Renewables sites throughout the United States. Mr. Mottolo has served in many roles, in various fields (including Customer Service, Distribution, Transmission, and Generation) throughout his 21 years of service at Duke Energy. He has extensive work management, asset management, and material management experience utilizing and managing teams that employ various EAM systems and other supplemental toolsets; including Maximo, PassPort, Cascade, EZMax, PaSTA, ProjectView, and Primavera.
