JEFF FORD

Director of Billing & Customer Service, Citizen’s Energy Group

Jeff Ford serves as Director of Billing and Customer Service. In this role, Jeff provides direction and leadership to customer facing areas including Customer Service, Billing and Receivables Management, Performance Assurance, and Digital Customer Engagement. Jeff began his career with Citizens in 1984 as a part time Customer Service Representative. Since then, Jeff has had the opportunity to serve Citizens in several positions of increasing responsibility. These include Manager of Information Technology (1995); Director of Purchasing (2005); Director of Supply Chain (2011); Director of Customer Experience Transformation (2014); and currently as Director of Billing and Customer Service (2015).

In his current role, Jeff leads a staff of 170 with more than 120 team members providing direct customer support. His team answers more than 725,000 calls per year and delivers more than 400,000 bills per month.

Jeff currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of the Warm Heart Warm Home Foundation, Inc. Jeff has also served on the board of directors for the Indiana Regional Minority Supplier Diversity Council and chaired the Supplier Diversity Committee of the Indiana Energy Association. Jeff is a graduate of the Ardath Burkhart Leadership Series and the Diversity Leadership Academy of Greater Indianapolis.
