Michael Heist currently serves as the Summit Event Director for Cloud for Utilities. He manages the daily operations of running a successful event, such as meeting room set-ups, exhibits, food & beverage, audio visual, partnering with the hotel staff, and budget management.

As CEO & Founder of Premier Event Resources, a full-service meeting management company, Michael Heist is involved with day to day operations of the business. Premier Event Resources (PER) began in 1999 and has evolved to be one of the most awarded firms in the industry. PER boasts over 100+ clients, many in the Fortune 500 Club. PER is based in Arizona and has several satellite offices around the country.

His 30+ year career started as an executive with Hilton Hotels Corporation, responsible for operations and convention services. This background laid the foundation to create PER.
