Vice President of Customer Services, Nashville Electric Service
Sylvia Smith is Vice President of Customer Services of Nashville Electric Service (NES). She oversees all departments that are front facing to the customer which includes, Corporate Communications, Call Center, Meter, Credit & Collections, AMI Network, Load Demand Management, Billing, Rates, Regulatory Assurance, Operating and Capital Budget, and Project Management. Sylvia is focused on the overall customer experience, supporting business solutions and organizational transformation. Prior to her role as Vice President of Customer Services, Sylvia has held various roles throughout her 30 year career at NES including experience overseeing the preparation of the company’s financial statements and payroll. She is a graduate of David Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management, in addition, has a MBA from the University of Phoenix and Executive Leadership Certification from Belmont University.
