JODY ALLISON

VP of Transformation and President, Liberty Utilities Service Corp

Jody currently serves as Vice President of Transformation at Algonquin Power and Utilities Corp and President of Liberty Service Corp (US). Her leadership experience includes executive positions in the utility industry, where she has overseen large scale operations, financial, and performance management, as well as talent development, change leadership and strategic planning. She has guided organizations operating in the retail, financial services, construction and manufacturing sectors through enterprise-wide transformational programs.

For more than 20 years, Jody has successfully driven operations and business benefits across numerous industries. In her role leading transformation at Algonquin/Liberty, she leverages her vast skill set to meet aggressive operational and strategic goals – drawing on strengths in customer experience, strategic planning, organizational analysis, creativity, relationship building and financial acumen.

Prior to Algonquin, she served as Vice President of Billing and Collections Strategy & Operations at National Grid, where she led an initiative that focused on optimizing financial and operational performance. This initiative emphasized customer experience-driven infrastructure and revenue creation within revenue cycle management processes.

Outside of her work in the utilities sector, Jody has spent time in private consulting and has expertise in risk management and customer experience. She grew her career at Paychex, where she rose to Director of Service Strategy from Finance/Risk Roles, acting as a key driver in the operational success and transformational change to meet business objectives. She created strong infrastructure to support governance on the innovative work, drawing from change management and lean principles. She consistently managed significant acquisitions into the operations, mitigating and assessing risks on a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. While at Paychex she was awarded multiple operational excellence awards, as well as an Alexander Hamilton Gold Medal presented by Treasury & Risk Magazine for her outstanding work in the area of Fraud.

Jody earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Rochester Institute of Technology, and then returned to Rochester’s Institute of Technology in 2012 to participate in an Executive MBA Program. In addition to her education and work experiences, Jody has obtained licenses as a Certified Credit Executive and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
