National Vice President, Utilities, SAP

As National Vice President of SAP’s Utilities practice, Michael is responsible for the strategy, day to day operations and overall success of our utility customers in the United States. His role is focused on nurturing and growing both the SAP Utilities practice and its supporting ecosystem, creating an environment where innovative and strategic capabilities intersect to meet the modern challenges for utilities in the digital age. Michael is dedicated to helping utilities become best-run businesses and has established himself as a trusted advisor who places a high priority on their success.Working closely with SAP Utilities Product Management executives, Michael champions the voice of our customers to ensure SAP is delivering the solutions needed to support the evolution of the energy value chain in a sustainable way that values and supports all stakeholders. Engaging the broader partner ecosystem, Michael further ensures that SAP supports the innovative delivery models and vectors of differentiation our customer demand as they transition their technology platforms to the cloud.An active voice in the Energy Industry, Michael serves as an advisor to the board’s of Alert Enterprise and DataVisor, and as a strategic advisor for SNC Power, an emerging company focused on new power generation technology. He serves as on the executive advisory panel for CS Week and is a member of Western Energy Institute. Michael is a graduate of North Carolina State University and lives outside Philadelphia with his wife and three daughters. He is an avid golfer, runner, reader and technology enthusiast —always on the lookout for what’s next.
