Chief Information Digital Officer & VP Customer Care, Regional Water Authority

Premjith Lakshman Singh is Chief Information Digital Officer & VP Customer Care for the Regional Water Authority. In this role Mr. Singh has oversight of all functions of Business Strategy & Transformation, Non-Core Businesses, Customer Care and Information Technology. RWA serves 400,000 core water customers and 115,000 non-core customers in Connecticut.

Prior to RWA, Mr. Singh spent 16+ years in the Energy & Utilities with executive leadership role in National Grid, Avangrid (Iberdrola) and UIL Holdings(UI, SCG, CNG, BGC) delivering corporate vision & goals. Mr. Singh is an accomplished thought leader with 20+ years of business transformational & technology experience leading Water, Gas, Electric, Transmission business at RWA, National Grid ($1.5B investment over 3 years with significant operating model changes for $24B rate base – 9 Utilities), he also lead IT consolidation for Global merger & acquisition with CAPEX & OPEX savings for Iberdrola S.A a world’s largest renewable & energy company to form Avangrid (NYSE:AGR) a $32 billion US Electric, Gas & Renewable company (8 Utilities). Mr. Singh is an incumbent of various awards including Best Run Utility, Business transformation and sustainability awards.

Mr. Singh has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business and Technology management. Mr. Singh is an active member of various local community services, university educational programs in Public Utility Management, etc.
